For Keeps for Free thanks to Undertaker Books

For Keeps: Three is one too many for this relationship. But will leaving prove harder than staying ever was?

The fine folk over at Undertaker Books are releasing another book in their successful anthology series, Stories to Take to Your Grave. In January 2027, the TATTOO edition will be available and will feature my story, For Keeps. They will be publishing several of the anthology’s stories as free reads over the coming months. February is my turn, and here’s the link to the free download via the publisher: https://undertakerbooks.com/products/for-keeps. While you’re there, check out January’s freebie, Skin Deep by Anna Catalano.

Undertaker Books are a publisher that I’ve wanted to work with since reading The Drowning Machine and Other Obsessions by Emma E. Murray. To be included in STTTYG: Tattoo edition is an absolute win for me.

Some writers may try to wring compliments out of any comment made about their work. For writers that delve into horror fiction, I think this could be true even when what has been said seems quite the contrary. For instance, when the writing group I belong to met on Tuesday evening, one of my fellow writers said of my chapter: “makes me want to wash my hands.” In this particular case, job done.
